From Spruga ...

spruga_edited.jpg

After a few hundred meters of the road that leads from the village of Spruga to the baths of Craveggia, you take a path that descends into the valley.

After crossing the bridge and following the signs for Alpe Ruscada, the path climbs up on the other side of the valley, crossing the thick pine forest and the beautiful forest reserve of Val Onsernone.

After three hours of walking, you reach the 1674 m of Alpe Ruscada where you meet the path that climbs from the Vigezzo Valley.

Leaving the hollow of this pasture, shortly after you cross the path that climbs from Comologno. Arriving at the Cappellone you are tempted to climb to the 2004 m of Pizzo Ruscada to admire an unforgettable 360 ° panorama, before a well-deserved stop at the Corte Nuovo Refuge, reachable by descending from the ridge.
